This is a brief assignment to be completed online by Monday 25th July.

Mad definitions: Mad definitions are usually definitions that are humourous but also evocative e.g. ‘School: a place where parents pay and children play’; or ‘politician: a person who shakes your hand before the elections and your confidence afterwards.’
In her chapter on work in ‘The Beauty Myth’ Wolf uses the following terms:
• Feminine Mystique
• The Glass Ceiling
• The Second Shift
• Bona fide Occupational Qualification
Look up these terms on the Internet, understand what they mean and write up your own one-line definition for it – it can be as wacky as you wish but it should indicate the commonly accepted meaning of the term. You may post these definitions in the comments space under this post.
