If people of color ruled the world, white people would curl their hair and darken their skin.

Paragraph 56
The obstacles to the equality of women created by stereotypes, perceptions of
and attitudes towards women should be totally removed... Report UNITED NATIONS DECADE FOR WOMEN
Awesome video. The transformation is so well done. Now if one looks at all of them, one would notice that in all the paintings the women are fair with splendid and glowy skin. None of the Western artists have made paintings of women with dark complexion. Such things will of course give a rise to a stereotyped image of women in the society.
it is an awesome video and the transformation is truely amazing i think you could notice the change in hairstyle more evidently than any other feature. All the women are fair . i agree with tanushree such things give rise to a stereotyped image of women .
Wow..amazing video! And yeah, in most of them (except for some of the paintings towards the end) women have been depicted very "flawlessly", with perfect, spotless and glowing skin, flawlessly set hair, big eyes and rosy lips. Since these paintings give rise to the perception we have today of those eras (especially those eras that occurred before photography happened), it sends out a rather warped message about "beauty and perfection" in those times, greatly influencing our definition of the same today.
